The state Department of Transportation has announced the following roadwork for Monday, May 26, through Friday, June 1:

l On Hawaii Belt Road from Ninole to Laupahoehoe, in the vicinity of Maulua Gulch, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between Pina Kahuku Road and Middle Road, Tuesday, May 29, through Friday, June 1, from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. daily, for tree trimming.

l On Hawaii Belt Road in Laupahoehoe, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between Old Mamalahoa Highway and Niupea Homestead Road, 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Tuesday-Friday, daily, for pavement stripping.

l On Kohala Mountain Road in Waimea, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between milepost markers 2 and 7, in the vicinity of Waiaka Junction, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m., Tuesday-Friday, daily, for pavement resurfacing.

l On Volcano Road in Mountain View, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between Kukui Camp Road and North Lauko Road, 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Tuesday-Friday, daily, for roadside utility installations.

All roadwork is weather permitting.
